Matter Brothers launches Coastal Living

Matter Brothers Furniture will celebrate the launch of the Coastal Living Home collection at its full-line store with a special event here Thursday.
The 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. event will include furniture giveaways (including a Coastal Living bedroom set), a $500 voucher to a Coastal Living property, door prizes, in-store discounts and one-day only introductory pricing. The retailer also is hosting a “Sip & Shop” coastal-themed cocktail party with live music, pop up shops by Lilly Pulitzer, Shore and Compound along with product demonstrations by Crypton and a special presentation on “2019 Coastal Design Trends” by the Editor of Coastal
The collection, a collaboration by Universal Furniture and Coastal Living, “was designed to evoke a feeling of luxe leisure,” Matter Brothers noted in a release. The collection for all rooms speaks “to a relaxed, coastal lifestyle and a deep connection to the outdoors you are sure to be inspired to breathe new life into your home decor.”
The Fort Myers, Fla.-based retailer is hosting the party at its largest, approximately 100,000-square-foot showroom in Sarasota but will display it in all five full-line showrooms. In Sarasota, Matter Brothers dedicated approximately 3,000 square feet to showcase the entire Escape collection from the Coastal Living line.
With showrooms on Florida’s west coast from Tarpon Springs to Naples, Matter Brothers has always focused on what it calls the Florida look, dominated by light finishes and coastal designs.
The Coastal Living collection “aligns perfectly within our product assortment and specifically appeals to our core consumer,” said President John Matter.
