Diamond Mattress launching Mattress University online

Diamond Mattress is offering retailers nationwide Diamond Mattress University, an online, mobile-friendly education program that provides three levels of specialized sales training and certification.

Free to retail partners, Diamond Mattress University utilizes videos and knowledge tests to engage sales associates, build their confidence and convert shoppers to buyers. Content includes sleep industry information such as health and wellness data, research, mattress construction and components, the sales process and techniques, and brand and product knowledge, the company said.

“Diamond Mattress University is unlike most programs out there because it goes well beyond product training,” said Patrick Wolf, vice president of sales and education for Diamond Mattress. “Our goal is to empower retail sales associates with sleep knowledge and sales training so they can build trust with their customers, help them understand sleep and the products, and ultimately help grow the ticket.”
